Sex O'Clock

A satirical comedy based on the life of the protagonist, Sana. Sana is played by 3 different women portraying the three stages of her life: childhood, adolescence and adulthood. All the stories on Sana's life are directly about or revolve around sex and sexuality. Stories of child Sana's bicuriosity, adolescent Sana's experience with adult toys and adult Sana's exploration of period sex.

The factor that makes the play unique is that all the scenes on sex have preceding debate scenes inspired by our country's most eccentric news reporter (you can put two and two together here). The debates are topical on the subsequent scene starring recurring hilarious and distinctive characters: one fiery male news anchor, one cowardly diplomatic male religious representative, one supportive female feminist lawyer, one ideologically stubborn Women’s Development Cell General Secretary and Sana.

The sex stories range from exploration of dating apps, a poem on losing your virginity to a exploring period sex. The debates therefore range from: 'Are dating apps healthy for the youth?' 'Should women lose their virginity before marriage?' 'How should women be treated on their period"?'
